This is part of our support for renal patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) who are outpatients at the renal unit at the Freeman Hospital. 

The Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne is the largest renal unit in the north-east of England. All the transplants for renal patients and very specialist renal care is done in this hospital. It has its own renal unit as well as supporting those in Sunderland, Middlesborough and Carlisle.
