Coach trip to LAKE WINDERMERE

  On Saturday 6th September a coach load went to Lakeside at the southern end of Lake Windermere. There we visited the Lakes Aquarium before going on a cruise on the Tern to Bowness. This was followed by time to see round the town before returning to Newcastle.

 During the day there was such heavy rain in Newcastle there was wide spread flooding. As we travelled across the A66 the sky brightened and we had a dry day at Lake Windermere with patches of sunlight.
